Creative Manager + Copywriter

Brief

Artisan Media is looking for a Creative Manager with agency Copywriting experience, to provide creative direction, drive inspiration, and collaborate in a variety of creative areas.


This creative leader should be someone eager to develop thoughtful ideas and work with our designers, client services team, social team, and clients to bring these ideas to life.

Primary responsibilities will include

  • Understanding our client's objectives, and defining creative strategies that generate measurable results
  • Assist client services team in conducting interviews with clients to fully understand their needs and channel their voice
  • Writing compelling and authentic content, including tag lines, scripts, body content and technical writing while keeping form, layout, and medium in mind
  • Creating strategic and innovative campaign concepts, and overseeing the execution of these campaigns
  • Establishing and implementing design and format standards, along with processes to produce consistent and high quality results
  • Approving, coordinating, and managing various projects and creative assets, across all mediums including TV, digital, social, outdoor, radio, print, direct mail, and others
  • Provide support for production and direction on-set or in-studio
  • Identifying and selecting freelancers outside contractors when needed
  • Working closely with account team Client Services team to ensure clear understanding and objectives of client goals and expectations
  • Working with art director and agency leadership to devise creative strategies and ad campaigns
  • Keeping up with latest industry trends and ad formats to ensure creative thought leadership for our clients, and our own brand
  • Working directly with client services team to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of necessary assets

The candidate we’re looking for will meet the following minimum requirements

  • 3-5 years agency copywriting experience, writing in a professional voice, that’s easy to understand
  • A demonstrable interest (or 1+ year experience) in Creative Leadership and Management (you’re an aspiring Creative Director)
  • Have an exciting resume, that's as fun to look at as your work is
  • Experience developing writing copy for websites, social media, and a wide array of other formats
  • Creatively-driven, with an ability to develop original ideas
  • The ability to think creatively and translate ideas/concepts into copy and campaigns
  • Experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work in a pressurized environment
  • Great organizational skills
  • An eye for detail and a desire for perfection
  • A team player, that enjoys huddling around the table with the rest of the team over lunch
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is not a requirement but it is a strong plus

Account Manager

Brief

Artisan Media Group is looking for a Account Manager with a great attitude and strategic mindset to join our team. The Client Service Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day affairs of their client roster, with emphasis on one primary account in the Healthcare industry.


The ideal Account Manager will seamlessly embed themselves within the Client’s marketing team, and act as extension of their company. The role is best for a proactive person, with an in-depth understanding of the advertising and marketing landscape, who is focused on generating results for our clients. Client-facing advertising agency account management experience is key.

Primary responsibilities will include

  • Meeting and liaising with clients to identify and discuss their business requirements, and prepare proactive solutions
  • Working with VP of accounts to act as primary points of contact between client and agency, and all agency team members
  • Develop a very close working relationship with the Client Marketing Director, to build effective lines of communication with our agency
  • Assist the Client Marketing Director in identifying ways to improve internal communication within their organization, that lead to an overall improvement in Marketing
  • Working with agency colleagues to develop content and ideas that impress clients beyond expectations
  • Ensuring an effective flow of communication between clients, account managers, coordinators, graphic designers, web developers, freelancers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Present creative work to clients for feedback, modification, and approval
  • Develop multi-platform advertising and media strategy, including TV, Digital (Social, Search, Programmatic), Print, Outdoor, Direct Mail, and others as needed
  • Overseeing campaign effectiveness and reporting
  • Overseeing social media accounts and the creation and dissemination of content via multiple channels
  • Developing Communication/PR strategies, in conjunction with extended team, as well as overseeing press releases, event management and media wrangling
  • Assist in developing new business strategies for existing clients
  • Assist in development of strategies to drive new business

The candidate we’re looking for will meet the following minimum requirements

  • 4+ years of direct account-facing experience
  • Excellent understanding of linear and non-linear media, with emphasis on TV and Social Media
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude, with a strong initiative, and “roll up your sleeves” mentality
  • The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility
  • Capable of quickly adapting from one assignment to another
  • A team player, that enjoys huddling around the table with the rest of the team over lunch
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Bi-lingual; Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Minimal but occasional travel
  • The legal right to work in the US
